About

Built in a garage. Running in big plants.

RBR Automation is a custom machine builder in Louisville, Kentucky, focused on servo-driven automation for the filtration industry.

Our story

From hobby project to production floor

RBR started in 2022 as a hobby: one person, a workshop, and a stubborn interest in making servo motion do exactly what it was told. The first machines were small. The problems they solved were real, and word got around.

Today RBR builds production equipment for large filtration manufacturers. The scale has changed. The philosophy has not: understand the essentials of the customer’s process, stay inside the niche we know deeply, and build machines that are worth the effort because they do one job exceptionally well.

We don’t sell generic machines that need months of fine-tuning on your floor. If a standard product is the right answer for you, we’ll say so. If it isn’t, we’ll build the right one.

Capabilities

Everything under one roof

The people who design your machine are the same people who machine the parts, wire the panel, write the code, and run it at rate.

In-house machining

Fixtures, nests, adapters, and machine components made here. Design changes take hours, not weeks of vendor lead time.

Controls & panel build

Servo drives, PLCs, safety systems, and HMIs specified, built, and wired in-house to your plant standard.

Programming

Motion and PLC code written by the engineers who designed the machine. Clean, documented, and maintainable by your team.
